Oriane Attali | Yoga and Acroyoga Teacher
How do you describe what you do?
Strangely this was the hardest question of all! I just live, I seek happiness and pursue anything that fills me up with it. Usually, that involves practicing and teaching yoga and acroyoga.
What’s the first thing you do in the morning?
I cuddle my puppy that sleeps right next to me :) After that I find a quiet spot outside or next to a window and sit in a silent meditation, do a few breathing techniques and end it off with some twists and side bends to wake up my spine.
Where is your favourite destination in the world?
Panama has a huge grip on my heart!
Which country have you traveled to that inspired you most?
The personal experiences I went through in Guatemala and Panama have changed me the most, but as a country and culture as a whole I’d have to say India inspired me most. Seeing how authentic happiness can derive from simplistic minimalism was truly transformational and inspiring.
Is there an adventure that changed your life?
Leaving everything behind and spontaneously embarking on a 2 year long travel journey spun my entire world around. There have been so many incredible stepping stones along the way, but one of the most transformative adventures would hands down have to be my yoga teacher training.
What’s your favourite way to stay active?
No doubt about it- yoga! With acroyoga coming in a close second and then running :)
What’s an adventure you’re excited to take?
Becoming more present online and being able to spread the beauty of yoga to a much larger and farther community than I ever imagined I could reach.
Is there a book that’s changed your life?
The Untethered Soul was one of the first healing novels I read that helped open me up to new perceptions.
Is there a career/personal accomplishment you’re proud of?
I am so proud of the personal growth I’ve made, of the fact that I have chosen, and keep choosing, to uncover myself, accept myself, and love myself <3
Is there a cause you’re passionate about?
Spreading kindness <3 Smile, pass it on to a stranger, you have no idea what an impact it can make on their life.
Do you have a piece of jewelry that’s sentimental to you?
I try not to place too many sentiments on physical things, but I do have a ring from my grandmother (her engagement ring actually!) that I was honoured to receive :)
Jewelry Lightning Round:
Silver or Gold? Gold
Chunky or Dainty? Chunky
Chain necklace or pendant necklace? Pendant
Huggies or oversized hoops? Hoops!
Signet ring or stacking ring? Stacking
